California Association of Real Estate Brokers Conference 2013 Live on The Power Is Now Online Radio - Replay



Riverside, California (June 19, 2013) - On June 6, 2013, The Power Is Now went to Sacramento, CA to cover the California Association of Real Estate Brokers Conference 2013. It will be available for replay on Blogtalk Radio starting Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 10:30AM PST.

The live coverage featured guest speaker was Francine Bailey-Byrd of California Association of Real Estate Brokers. Francine is the first Vice President of CAREB and Conference Chairperson of CAREB. Francine is from Sacramento, California and owns Prime Real Estate Network.

Zoritha Thompson was the second guest speaker and is the Vice-Chairperson of the CAREB Conference, and a local board President. She is also the owner of Goree & Thompson Real Estate in Sacramento, California.

The third guest speaker was Jonathan Anozie, also a Vice-Chairperson for the CAREB Conference and 1st Vice President of the Consolidated Board of Realtors in Los Angeles. Jonathan is also the  broker/owner of The Realty Exchange Firm based in Inglewood, CA.

Julius Cartwright, the President of NAREB was also on the show to speak about NAREB national initiatives and Anita Jones-Cayenne, the President of CAREB and broker/owner of Embarcadero Investments talked about the history of CAREB and the conference.  Anita is from Stockton, CA. There was also a special interview with Scott Syphax, the President & CEO of the Nehemiah Corporation of America, Marguerite Crespillo, Owner of SellState Realty First, Broker/Owner and Mark Alston broker/owner of Skyway Realty to speak about the laws and regulations now impacting real estate and lending and Ron Cooper owner/broker of RS Cooper Realty, and 1st Vice President of NAREB to talk about investing in real estate.  At the conference presenting was the Outreach & Marketing Director at BLB Resources, Inc. Ray Warda, and Tamiko Broms of PEMCO.

JPMorgan Got Off Easy: Why The Settlement Is Not Justice

The Justice Department, along with federal and state partners, announced this week a $13 billion settlement with JPMorgan - the largest settlement with a single entity in American history.   This settlement brings to a resolution the federal and state civil claims arising out of the packaging, marketing, sale and issuance of residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) by JPMorgan, Bear Stearns and Washington Mutual prior to Jan. 1, 2009.
